How come we have this cold weather now and not during the Christmas season? Not that I mean to complain, but Christmas is the one type of year when I don't mind the cold, and it seems like every year we only get cold weather long after Christmas. Its like a cruel joke.
Good point there are many possiblities that helped to make the early part of the winter warmer than normal. A concern that I have read about is how global warming is invovled.

During my career in tv I have been on numerous stories, including Super Bowl XLV in North Texas, the 2011 Winter Classic in Pittsburgh, Upper Big branch mine disaster and many, many other major news stories. Eventually I want to leave the TV business and pursue a career in Emergency management

Correction: In my earlier comment, I meant to say 'time' not 'type'.
