Fireworks??
I'm a pyrotechnician with Zambelli fireworks and I will being shooting a show tomorrow night, and I'm personally praying for no rain. The show the largest in the region outside of downtown Pittsburgh. Here is my forecast for the rest of the week including tomorrow:
Independence Day: Partly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high 83. South wind between 5 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Fireworks time and after: Mostly cloudy, showers and thunderstorms likely, especially during the fireworks events, some of the storms could be severe. Low 66. Southwest wind between 7 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Thursday: Partly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High 81. West wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe, with gusty winds. Low 61. West wind between 5 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday: Partly cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9am. High 81.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, Low 60.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, High 80.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, Low 61. Sunday: Partly cloudy, High 86.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, Low 66.

Around the Pittsburgh area the threat of Tornadoes is low but not completely to be ruled out. We will have to watch this...
The major threat from this system over and around the Pittsburgh area is wind damage. This damage could be significant if the right ingredients get going.
This is the current radar map from the region clearly showing a line of severe weather beginning to fire over the middle sections of Ohio. This is what we will have to watch over the next few hours. My advice is stay tuned to the local media (KDKA, WTAE, WPXI or on line sources such as the National weather service Pittsburgh) stay tune and prepare for some severe weather.
